We’re thrilled to highlight artist SWIZ PROD (Théo Soumaille) as our May 2024 Artist of the Month.
As we shared in a technical case study earlier this year, SWIZ PROD is a master at creating full-motion 3D renders of vehicles using only digital twins, HDRi Maps, and his own artistry.
Motion rendering is one of the most exciting and powerful techniques in the 3D design space today. Motion renders look indistinguishable from videos. Because designers like SWIZ PROD can control every aspect of the lighting, setting, and more, these life-like renders capture the creator's exact vision.
Full-motion automotive renders are possible largely because of the incredible quality of today’s HDRi Maps .
Our industry-leading Ray.HDRi Map technology, for example, captures real-world scenes in 360 degrees, at resolutions up to 32k.
This gives designers like SWIZ PROD the leeway to create immersive worlds for their vehicle digital twins, and to dynamically move a virtual camera around within those worlds to create the impression of dynamic motion.

With lower-quality imagery, designers would be hemmed in by limitations on resolution and lighting detail. With today’s tech, there are no such limitations.
Of course, a tool is only as good as the person wielding it! That’s where SWIZ’s artistry comes in.
His choice of HDRi Maps and his dynamic use of lighting, other 3D elements in the scene, and carefully chosen virtual vehicle digital twins all come together to create scenes that not only capture the beauty of a particular vehicle, but also situate that vehicle perfectly in a virtual world.
