Enhanced Image Pages
Our new page highlights the visuals front and center, making it simple to switch between different camera height variations and see all the details in each image.
The new interface also makes it far easier to quickly calculate credit costs and license an image. For users with a CGI.Backgrounds plan , licensing an image is now often as easy as pressing a single button.
We’ve also surfaced key information about each image in an easier-to-read format and added detailed narrative descriptions of the scenes.
All these features combine to make it even easier to find the perfect HDRi Map or Backplate for your creative project–and to quickly access and download the content you need.
Performance Improvements
With over 800,000 images from over 7,000 locations, we have a large collection!
We’ve also published nearly 100 articles on our blog, covering every aspect of the 3D rendering and automotive rendering industry.
To ensure that our site loads and responds as quickly as possible, our technical team recently made some major behind-the-scenes updates.
The site is now up to 50% faster , cutting down on time spent navigating and allowing you to focus instead on your creative journey.
Especially if you frequently browse our site on your mobile device, you’ll notice the speed and performance improvements. And we’re still working to make our site even faster!
Video Walkthroughs of our Most Exciting Content
To help inspire you, we’ve begun to create short, 1-minute videos highlighting unique and useful imagery from our collection.
These Instagram-style videos give you a fast, visual look at HDRi Maps and Backplates you might not have seen before. They’re narrated with technical details about the images so you know exactly what’s available.
Each video has a direct link back to the corresponding images in our collection. If you see something you like, you can quickly visit our site and add the images to a lightbox for use in your next render.
